Jay and his Dad went to a Car Show today.


They drove Papa's '46 truck- nice truck Papa!

Cobbitts Pond

We've been trying out the beach this week, the water has been great!


I love standing in the sand and stomping my feet, and floating around on my belly the water.

Picnic Lunch

Since the sun finally came out- we had lunch outside.


And of course, Jackson helped clean up.

Story time

I've been enjoying books lately. Whether its grabbing the pages or sucking on the cover I have a great time!


I've also been saying "da-da" lately. It makes Daddy's day when I say it!

Reunion with UNH Girls

We met up with friends from UNH to celebrate Kelsie's engagement. The five of us haven't been in a picture together since graduation!

Mommy and Me

These pictures are of me and my Mommy at 6 months old. I think looks wise, I'm a good mix of both Mommy and Daddy.

Cooling off

Papa came over to babysit while Mommy and Daddy organized the garage. It was so hot out, over 90 degrees.


We hung out in Papa's truck with the AC on. We had so much fun! He let me play with everything: an ipod, windshield wiper knobs and the horn!

Play Time

My mommy realized that it was just easier to dump out the toy basket than take out a few toys at a time. This way its like a toy Cornucopia!


I love moving around on the floor. I just can't sit still. I'm still rolling around from place to place, and now I've started getting up on my knees too. You'd better baby proof the house soon Mommy and Daddy, I'm almost mobile now!

Like Father Like Son

Here are pictures of me and my Daddy, both at 7 months old. I see a resemblance, I think we have the same nose!

Mommy snapped a shot of me standing on my own. Daddy is close by for when I fall over!

Jacob is 7 Months Old

I'm 7 Months old today. I've been keeping busy lately. Check me out- I sit up by myself!


I like to stand up against the back of the couch too (with Mommy or Daddy's help). I can do it for a few minutes at a time.


I like to look out the window and wait for Daddy to come home from work.


I crack myself up!


I'm also very fond of my high chair. Give me a few toys after meals and I'm good to go! My favorite "toy" is a chilled rubber spoon. It feels so good on my swollen gums. Being in my high chair is great because Jackson is usually within an arms reach.

A visit with Friends

We had lunch with Katelin and Sean today. This picture was taken about one second before Jake almost pulled Katelin's earing out!

Fenway Park

I made it to Fenway Park for the first time. There was a "Life is Good" family day at the park, lots of things to do and a few bands that played. Daddy's favorite band ever was there- Super Diamond. They are a Neil Diamond cover band, but they sound like the real thing (hence the name, "Surreal Neil)". Mommy and Daddy saw them all the time in San Diego.


The Wadja's and Aren's were there too.

Portsmouth- Tall Ships

Jake and I went to Portsmouth today to meet up with Jill and the gang. Three tall ships were in town and we caught part of the boat parade!


Once we got on the road, Jake decided he wasn't quite ready to fall asleep. So we stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a little bit until he was ready for the car ride to Portsmouth.


Is this a tired baby or what?


We had a nice picnic in Prescott Park and watched the boats go by.


Jake didn't notice the boats though. He was too wrapped up in playing with Jane, Stevie and Jonathan. And of course, doing what he does best- PULL HAIR!


The kids had a blast with the fountains around the park. I think Jonathan had wet hair all day!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! I showed off my skills at the Taylor BBQ today. These days I like to roll to where I want to go, and sit up to play with my toys.


So many toys, so little time!


I got to hang out with Aunt Karen today.


I also got to know my second cousin Mikala a little better. She even let me do one of my most favorite things- PULL HAIR!

Family Day at Griffin Park

Jake enjoyed Family Day from the comfort of his stroller. Check out one of his last tooth-less grins since his first tooth just broke through!
